What to do next.

1) First of all you need to sign up with a site which lets you promote offline ( I.e one which lets you use codes.)
Two of these are Party Poker and PokerRoom and they are the best to start with.

2) Once done you have to pick your bonus code. It should be something snappy and short and easy to remember. Something to do with your uni would be good or something like BONUS25 ( As you are promoting a free $25 bonus to the customer). PokerRoom requires that you email support to get an offline code. Read their FAQ for more info.

3) Now you need to design and print a flyer. You will need photoshop. Search google image for a logo for Party or Poker Room and use that in your design. Party and
PokerRoom are the two most recognisable brands so you need to have their log somewhere on the flyer.

4) Find out what the bonus is for the customer and promote it heavily on the flyer.
(EG Party gives $25. Make sure you stress that the Code needs to be entered for them to receive the free money.)
If you do not have photoshop or are useless at that sort of thing then email me at owenrankin3@yahoo.co.u k and tell me your bonus code and I will send you your own design. Mine is quite average though so if you can do better then please do.

5) Take you flyer to the printers. Get a few done. I got 1000 for £18 at a local printers. You don't have to go for glossy, super flyers or anything. Though if you want to, go ahead.

6) Once back from the printers there is only one thing left to do. Go forth and distribute.
Try and target it as best as possible . Local Poker society groups, canteens etc. You know your campus and you know best where to do it. Also use word of mouth. Tell your friends who play, or anyone who might play poker with.

7) Wait for the money to come in. Buy a yacht. Or at least get yourself a few extra drinks.
One sign up is at least £35 so keep trying. Don't be discouraged by slow starts. I have made over £6000 in 12 months but I only made £100 in the first two.
You can check your stats daily and you are told how many people you have signed up, how much they have made you etc. This is the best part of all.

Other Ideas for promotion.

Of course, you arent limited to just trying to promote at college. You are in living in a big city. There are alot of other people other then students there. You could promote at Football or Rugby games, concerts, put posters up around the place, or leave flyers in pubs. Get some stickers printed with your bonus code on it. The world isyour oyster, and your only limitation is you, and your imagination.

Organise a poker game in a pub. It has to be free to enter, for legal reasons, but give away prizes and make sure everyone there knows about your bonus code.
If you give someone a $50 poker account for winning, you can do it under your code, pay $50 into his/her account and then you receive $65 at least for referring him. You gain $15 for giving your code out to lots of new people, and having a good night out.

If you have HTML skills then you can really open up your business. Build a poker website, with tracking links, rather then codes, and instead of going for 10 sign-ups a minth from your local area, you will be marketing to milliosn of people from around the world.

Poker is the boom business at the moment and you can be part of it.
